Our world right now can feel chaotic and overwhelming to a child. Photography is an art form that allows us to embrace observation, stillness and aceptance giving a child a sense of calm and offering tools to process some of the complexities around them.
Grab a camera in any form and join my drop in photography workshops designed to help young photographers (age 5-15) develop age-appropriate photo skills as they rest in the beauty of our natural world.
Each 90 minute class will take place outside and begin with a short tutorial on a photographic concept like light, composition or perspective. While students don’t have to attend every class, each class will build on the last if taken as a series.
Your child will have plenty of opportunities for creative play and thinking while discovering multiple ways of exploring nature with their camera. Nature inspires art and being outdoors lifts our spirits and nurtures our creativity.
COVID-19 note: Each workshop will be limited to 8 students and all classes will be held outdoors. Rain dates will be shared if weather prohibits a class from happening.
